TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Temperatures in New Jersey are headed for the cellar.
A freeze warning is in effect from midnight Tuesday until 9 a.m. Wednesday for Morris, Passaic, western Bergen, western Essex, western Union, Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, western Monmouth, Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Burlington, Ocean and Cumberland counties.
Forecasters say temperatures in the upper 20s to lower 30s are possible. Those lows could pose problems for plants and crops.
Forecasters also say there is a slight chance for snow, freezing rain and sleet in northwest New Jersey on Wednesday night.
