MILTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Milton gas station.
State Police say the robbery happened around 8 p.m. Friday at the Valero gas station located at 25776 Deep Branch Road. State Police say a male suspect armed with an unknown type of handgun approached a female clerk and demanded cash. State Police say the cashier complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of money. State Police say the robber then fled.
State Police describe the suspect as a black male wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, a mask, a blue jacket and dark colored pants.
