KEOKUK, Iowa (AP) - Iowa authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a 29-year-old woman in the southeast corner of the state.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation says Carissa Rivers was found unresponsive in an alley in Keokuk shortly after midnight Sunday.
Rivers was taken to a hospital where she later died. An autopsy will be performed this week.
No arrests had been made as of Sunday afternoon.
