WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) - Police are investigating the death of a 20-year-old student at The College of William & Mary.

Williamsburg police spokesman Maj. Greg Riley tells local news outlets that officers received a call about an unconscious person early Saturday morning.

University officials said in a statement that the emergency call was about a student, identified as Tiancheng “Austin” Zheng, in cardiac arrest at an off-campus location.

Officials say Zheng was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The medical examiner’s office will determine the cause of death.

The college says Zheng was a junior from Suzhou, China, who was studying biology and art.
