WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (AP) - The former director of a central Pennsylvania museum has been sentenced to 18 years in federal prison on child pornography charges.

Now federal prosecutors in Williamsport must decide whether to try 68-year-old Christopher Lee on related charges that he enticed a minor girl into sexual activity at the Boal Mansion Museum in Centre County.

Lee lived at the museum, which uses volunteer students from around the world to serve as guides.

He was convicted in March of possessing, receiving and producing child porn and obstruction of justice. A federal judge ordered the child-sex charges be tried separately for fear a jury would have been prejudiced had the child pornography case been tried at the same time.

Lee has vowed to appeal. He resigned from the museum shortly after he was charged in October 2014.
