SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office is looking into the potential involvement of juveniles in the shooting death of a 20-year-old man from Moore.

Sheriff’s Lt. Kevin Bobo told multiple media outlets that officials are looking at the death of Thompson Kotlarich Demas as a possible homicide.

County Coroner Rusty Clevenger says Demas died from several gunshot wounds to the back. Deputies discovered his body around 4 a.m. Saturday at a home in Moore.

Bobo says officials are investigating four or five individuals in connection with the death. He says some are juveniles.
