Hillary Clinton defeated Republican Donald Trump in Nevada in the GOP presidential race, defending a state that had backed Democrats in back-to-back presidential elections, and keeping her White House hopes alive.
Networks called race for Mrs. Clinton a couple hours after polls closed at 10 p.m.
It was some goods news for Mrs. Clinton, who dropped a series of battleground states earlier in the night, including Ohio and Florida.
Nevada is worth 6 electoral votes, but its importance was elevated by the tight-knit nature of the race on Tuesday.
