CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming voters won’t have any problems getting to the poll thanks to pleasant fall weather statewide on this election day.

Polls opened at 7 a.m., but many voters have already cast their ballots.

The Wyoming Secretary of State’s Office says more than 78,000 ballots had already been cast across the state by Monday evening through absentee voting.

The agency says 94 percent of absentee ballots requested had been received by county clerks.

Besides the race for president, Wyoming residents will be selecting a replacement for U.S. Rep. Cynthia Lummis, who did not seek re-election this year.

They also will decide one state constitutional amendment, state legislative seats and various local offices and issues.
