PITTSBURGH (AP) - Pittsburgh police say a 26-year-old woman has been charged in the first of three purse snatchings along with a juvenile already in custody in that incident and two others.

Twenty-six-year-old Jacquet Pope Esposito, of Wilkinsburg, was arrested Monday on charges including robbery, conspiracy and reckless endangerment.

Police say Esposito and the 17-year-old girl already being charged in juvenile court robbed a woman walking on a city street Oct. 7, but noted a good Samaritan helped that victim retrieve her purse.

The juvenile is also charged with similar incidents on Oct. 18 and 31. Esposito has yet to be charged in the other incidents, though police believe all three are connected.

Pope doesn’t have an attorney listed in court records which say she faces a preliminary hearing Nov. 16.
