Disgraced former New York Rep. Anthony Weiner is undergoing equine-assisted therapy to combat sex addiction.

The man responsible for upending the U.S. presidential race less than two weeks before Americans were scheduled to go to the polls now finds himself at a remote ranch — on horseback. The New York Post confirmed Friday reports that Mr. Weiner was at Recovery Ranch in Nunnelly, Tennessee.

“Weiner — who was caught obsessively texting other women, including an underage girl, while married to top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin — looked pensive as he meandered through the trees at the expansive ranch,” the newspaper reported. “But he turned decidedly glum when approached by The Post and asked for comment. He refused to say a word before riding slowly off.”

Mr. Weiner, 52, is responsible for the FBI’s renewed investigation into the former secretary of state’s secret email server. Agents found a treasure trove of possibly “pertinent” metadata on his laptop while investigating illicit text messages he sent to a teenager girl.

Recovery Ranch bills itself as the ideal location for handling addictions, compulsive behaviors and mental health disorders. Its staff covers everything from alcohol and drug use to sex addiction, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

The former congressman’s total treatment program — $25,000 for the 35-day program — involves “interacting with horses in ways that provide valuable lessons in accountability,” The Post reported.
