“Westworld” star Evan Rachel Wood said in an interview with Rolling Stone that she has been raped twice in her life, once by a significant other and once by a bar owner, CNN is reporting.

“I don’t believe we live in a time where people can stay silent any longer,” the 29-year-old actress wrote in a Twitter post and in an email sent to Rolling Stone. “Not given the state our world is in with its blatant bigotry and sexism. It should be talked about because its swept under the rug as nothing and I will not accept this as ’normal.’ It’s a serious problem.”

Miss Wood, who has also appeared in “True Blood” and the HBO miniseries “Mildred Pierce,” said she hopes that coming forward as a survivor of sexual assault will allow others to know there is no time limit for healing, according to CNN.

“I am still standing. I am alive. I am happy. I am strong,” Miss Wood wrote. “But I am still not ok.”
