JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say an elderly man was injured when a train clipped his car outside Jacksonville.

The Florida Times-Union (https://goo.gl/nHvYLx ) reports that the crash occurred Monday afternoon.

Officers say the man was driving over the tracks when the crossing arms came down. He tried to reverse out of the way, but his vehicle was hit by a CSX train.
