QUINCY, Mass. (AP) - In a story Nov. 13 about candidates to lead the Massachusetts Democratic Party, The Associated Press incorrectly reported the first name of one of the candidates. He is Gus Bickford, not Guy Bickford.

Three candidates are vying to become the next chairman of the Massachusetts Democratic Party
QUINCY, Mass. (AP) - Massachusetts Democrats are choosing between three candidates who hope to lead the state party.
Members of the Democratic State Committee are scheduled to meet in Quincy on Monday to pick a new chairman.
Vying for the post are Gus Bickford, a political consultant and the party’s one-time executive director; Stephen Kerrigan, the 2014 Democratic nominee for lieutenant governor; and Suffolk County Sheriff Steve Tompkins.
The winner will succeed state Sen. Thomas McGee of Lynn, who is relinquishing the party chairmanship after three years.
The new chair will be named less than a week after the election of Donald Trump as the nation’s next president. Democrat Hillary Clinton easily carried Massachusetts.
The party will soon turn its focus to 2018, when Democrats will try to reclaim the governor’s office from Republican Charlie Baker.
