LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Court records show that the woman charged with manslaughter in the deaths of a Louisville police officer and University of Kentucky employee had a previous DUI conviction.

Media outlets report 26-year-old Suzanne Whitlow is accused of driving under the influence early Saturday and hitting 56-year-old Timothy Moore and 37-year-old Louisville Metro Detective Jason Schweitzer. Both men later died at a hospital.

Whitlow remains hospitalized. She has been charged with two counts of second-degree manslaughter and one count of DUI first offense.

According to court records, Whitlow had been issued a certificate of completion for finishing alcohol driver education classes on Oct. 6. She was ordered to attend because of a 2014 DUI conviction that suspended her license.

It’s unclear if Whitlow has an attorney.
