A man was pulled down by a moving Metro train in D.C. when his backpack got stuck in the doors Friday.
The man exited a Blue Line train at L’Enfant Plaza around 10 a.m., and the doors closed on his backpack. That caused him to fall on the platform were he was briefly dragged by the train, NBC4 reported.
He suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Metro service was briefly interrupted, causing some delays, but regular service resumed around 11 a.m.
