Maryland residents looking to renew their driver’s licenses Monday will be turned away because a computer glitch has taken down systems at Motor Vehicle Administration locations across the state.

“We are currently experiencing a system error with our DL services throughout the state. We are working to address the issue,” the MVA wrote on Twitter Monday morning.

MVA does not have an estimate as to when the systems will be back online and driver’s license services will be up and running again.

But the agency did say that applicants can complete some services online at home.
