BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Hollywood actor Josh Duhamel is helping promote his home state of North Dakota.

The state Tourism Division says Duhamel is the face of its 2016 advertising campaign, and that he was in North Dakota last fall shooting tourism video. He also appears on the covers of the state’s 2016 travel guide and its 2016 hunting and fishing guide.

A native of Minot, Duhamel perhaps best known for his work in the “Transformers” movies.

Duhamel is being paid $475,000 for his North Dakota tourism work.
