Former Sen. Bob Dole, who led the GOP ticket in 1996, endorsed Sen. Marco Rubio’s bid for president Monday.

“Now that my good friend Jeb Bush is no longer running, I’m supporting Rubio,” Mr. Dole said on ABC’s “Political Powerhouse” podcast.

Mr. Rubio has been racking up endorsements following the South Carolina primary, where he finished second. Mr. Bush finished a distant fourth, prompting the former Florida governor to suspend his campaign.
