COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Authorities accuse a 24-year-old Richland County man of killing a 48-year-old family acquaintance.
Sheriff Leon Lott announced Friday that Brian Neil White is charged with murder in the shooting death of James Turner.
Deputies responding to a shooting Thursday found Turner in a van outside a home. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Coroner Gary Watts says Turner was shot multiple times in his upper body.
Lott says an “ongoing family dispute” led to the shooting. He gave no details.
