MERIDIAN, Miss. (AP) - Funeral services are planned Wednesday in Meridian for a teenager who died from an accidental gunshot wound.

The Meridian Star reports (https://bit.ly/2i5hqga ) that 15-year-old Max Daniel Robinson, who is the son of a Lauderdale County sheriff’s deputy, died Saturday night.

Services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.



The newspaper reports that Robinson was a sophomore at Clarkdale High School, where he was a member of Future Farmers of America.

Authorities said Robinson was at his home Saturday evening with his family when the shotgun he and a friend were handling discharged.
