DERRY, N.H. (AP) - A Derry, New Hampshire, family is looking for a 63-year-old family member missing for a week who has shown signs of schizophrenia and early onset dementia.

The Eagle Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/2hDQMda) John “Jack” Walsh was seen on video surveillance walking away from the Parkland Medical Center in Derry from a routine appointment on the afternoon of Dec. 13. He was supposed to be supervised.

The 6-foot Walsh weighs 139 pounds and was wearing a brown leather jacket, gray T-shirt and jeans. He may have a beard now.

His niece, Ashley Zaremba, says he may have been spotted at The Loop shopping complex in Methuen, Massachusetts, on several occasions.

The family says Walsh has a history of hitchhiking that dates back to the 1970s.
