Police outside Atlanta arrest suspect in killing of man, 21

LILBURN, Ga. (AP) - Police outside Atlanta say they’ve arrested a juvenile in the killing of a man found wounded by gunfire outside a daycare center.

Gwinnett County police say a Special Weapons And Tactics or SWAT team arrested the suspect on Sunday night near Lawrenceville. His name wasn’t released because of his age.

The arrest comes after 21-year-old Curtis Oldham was found with a gunshot wound Saturday outside the daycare near Lilburn.

Police said it’s likely that the shooting occurred elsewhere, and a female drove the victim to the daycare parking lot and sought help for the man. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.

Few other details were immediately available early Monday.
