In his latest pro-development move, President-elect Donald Trump has reportedly decided on a longtime former governor of Texas to be his energy secretary.

Bret Baier of Fox News tweeted that “An informed source close 2 transition” had said that Mr. Trump had decided on former Gov. Rick Perry of Texas for the post.

Mr. Perry had his third meeting with Mr. Trump on Monday at Trump Tower in lower Manhattan, where the president-elect has been interviewing prospective administration appointments for weeks now.
