The Right Side Forum, an hour-long conservative live news and talk show hosted by columnist Armstrong Williams, will address both the health concerns of breast cancer and the Syrian refugee crisis this week.
“National Breast Cancer Awareness Month has been shaken up by, of all organizations, the American Cancer Society. The ACS’ new guidelines for screening have sparked controversy and confusion, but have not dimmed the commitment to beating breast cancer,” Armstrong says.
“One in eight women will develop invasive breast cancer in her lifetime, but the odds of being a survivor have never been better. And they’re improving! We’re going to talk about why. The second issue is the Syrian refugee crisis. It’s an international disaster, but my guest says there is a solution. Make sure you join us,” he adds.
The guests this week include radiologist Dr. Jennifer Park, Justin Gaither, an executive with the Association of Alexandria Radiologists; breast cancer survivors Michelle Gamache and Alessandra Palombella, Shay Sharpe, founder of Shay Sharpe’s Pink Wishes; Mia Wright, founder of We CanCervive and Roy Beck, CEO of Numbers USA.
The Right Side Forum, which debuted in January, airs live on Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m. on News Channel 8 in the Washington, D.C., area, and repeats again at 6:30 p.m.
