Charlie Sheen is HIV-positive

Actor Charlie Sheen revealed he is HIV-positive during an appearance on NBC’s “Today” Tuesday Morning.

The “Platoon” and “Wall Street” star was fired from the sitcom “Two and a Half Men” after a spat with the show’s creator led to a public meltdown.

Mr. Sheen, 50, has been in drug rehab multiple times and has lived with at least three women.

NBC hyped the interview, insisting Mr. Sheen would be making a “revealing personal announcement.”

Mr. Sheen’s revelation came after European tabloids reported an unnamed A-list actor had Hollywood in a panic because he was HIV-positive and had bedded multiple celebrities.
