Two things have been certain ever since President Obama announced with much fanfare his “framework nuclear agreement” with Iran last April.
The first is that it was a fraud. The Iranians hadn’t actually accepted what Team Obama claimed. They didn’t agree to curb their uranium enrichment or stockpiles, to permit intrusive inspections or to a phased easing of sanctions.
The cumulative effect of such discrepancies ensures that Iran will get the bomb – not be precluded from doing so.
Second, it was clear that, what was a terrible deal in April, would become still worse. Just Tuesday, Secretary of State John Kerry abandoned his erstwhile, non-negotiable demand that Iran reveal its previous secret nuclear activities.
These negotiations are a humiliating disgrace for America and national security menace. Stop them now.
