Former Sen. Jim Webb of Virginia, who is weighing a 2016 run for president on the Democratic side, is heading to Iowa for a multiday trip starting Sunday.

He will attend the annual Urbandale Democrats Flag Day Event Sunday and participate in events in Des Moines Monday and Tuesday.

Mr. Webb, who served a single term in the U.S. Senate from 2007-2013, has been in Iowa for seven days in 2015, according to a tally from the Des Moines Register.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, the 2016 Democratic frontrunner who announced her candidacy in April, is delivering what her team is calling her official campaign launch speech in New York on Saturday before heading to Iowa, where she will be June 13 and 14.

Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, and former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee are also running for president on the Democratic side.
