The Right Side Forum, an hour-long conservative live news and talk show hosted by columnist Armstrong Williams, offers a close look at a pair of true Washington insiders. His guests this week are Judy Woodruff, co-anchor and managing editor of the PBS NewsHour, and Al Hunt, veteran political columnist for Bloomberg View.
They have been called the authentic inside couple of D.C. The celebrated journalists have not only reported on most of the major events of the last four decades, but they’ve managed to do it while maintaining a long-term marriage and raising children. Both join Armstrong and take a rare opportunity to talk about media, politics and their personal lives.
“If you’re paying attention to anything in Washington, Judy Woodruff and Al Hunt have, in some way, helped you understand what’s going on. You can count on them for solid reporting, and thoughtful interpretations of events and issues. I look forward to them relaxing and sharing their views about the 2016 presidential race,” Armstrong says.
“But who knows? Their greatest contribution to The Right Side Forum may be what they say about staying married for more than 30 years. I look forward to finding out,” he notes.
The show, which debuted in January, airs live on Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m. on News Channel 8 in the Washington, D.C. area, and repeats again at 6:30 p.m.
