John Stamos, who played heart-throb Uncle Jesse on the “Full House” has checked himself into rehab, People magazine confirmed Friday.

Mr. Stamos, 51, was charged last month with a DUI, after which he was briefly hospitalized for an unknown medical condition.

Following the incident he tweeted to his fans, “Thanks to everyone for their love & support. I’m home & well.”

The actor is set to appear before a judge on the charges on Sept. 11, The New York Post’s Page Six reported.

Mr. Stamos is set to star in a “Full House” reunion called “Fuller House” on Netflix. His new Fox sitcom, “Grandfathered” premiers this fall.
