California firefighters reportedly spent two hours Saturday morning rescuing a naked woman who had gotten stuck in her ex-boyfriend’s chimney.
Woodcrest homeowner Tony Hernandez said the woman, who is the mother of his three children, had tried around 5 a.m. to open the door of his home in the 15800 block of Rancho Viejo Drive, a local CBS affiliate reported.
After realizing the door was locked, she tried to get into the house by climbing onto the roof and entering through the chimney. She became wedged in the enclosure and at some point removed her clothing in an attempt to free herself, the station reported.
Riverside County Fire Department had to break the fireplace open to get the woman out. Fire officials posted photos of the rescue on Twitter.
The woman, whose name was not released, was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and is expected to be OK.
Mr. Hernandez said the woman doesn’t live with him and isn’t allowed to be around their children. The children were not in the home at the time of the incident, a local ABC affiliate reported.
“I don’t like the way she’s acting or what she’s doing. That’s not good for my kids,” Mr. Hernandez said.
