A London college will help students up their social media status with a new course on the art of selfies.

City Lit College will offer a new course starting in March called “The art of photographic self-portraiture,” the Telegraph reported Saturday.

The month-long program consisting of lectures and seminars will help students “improve critical understanding of the photographic self-portrait,” the newspaper reported.

Students will also critique their past selfies as well as the others from a “variety of practitioners.”

Students taking the course could study celebrity selfies from the likes of Kim Kardashian and Ellen Degeneres — whose star-studded 2015 Oscar selfie became the most retweeted ever.

The course description says anyone who has taken self-portraits “even in the most casual way” is welcome to join and explore the notions of “identity, selfhood and memory.”
