An undercover video released this week shows college students signing a petition asking radio stations to boycott the “racist” song “White Christmas.”

Dan Joseph, a prankster with the conservative Media Research Center, went to an unnamed college campus to gather signatures on a petition describing the Christmas classic as “insulting to people of color” because it “perpetuates the idea that being white is automatically a positive attribute in our society.”

The video shows some students signing the petition and others dismissing it as Mr. Joseph describes the song as “racist” and a “microaggression.” He gathered 18 signatures in about an hour.

“As I’m sure you’ve seen on the news, college campuses all over the country have gone absolutely bananas over political correctness, but just how bad is it?” Mr. Joseph says at the start.

The 1942 version by Bing Crosby is the best-selling single of all time, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

The video come a week after the release of a hidden video by filmmaker and satirist Ami Horowitz showing students at Yale University signing a petition to repeal the First Amendment.
