Police are on the scene at East Towne Mall in Madison, Wisconsin after shots were fired Saturday afternoon.
No further details of the shooting were immediately available.
A witness told local ABC reporters a man may have been shot inside the mall. The male witness said first responders were seen performing CPR.
ABC reported witness accounts of armed police running through the mall while stores were on lock down and shoppers were evacuated.
A notice posted on the mall website says: “The mall is temporarily closed due to a safety concern.”
