Former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina said Friday that the attention she is getting following her performance in the “kiddie’s table” debate will serve as a reminder to voters that Hillary Rodham Clinton is not the only woman seeking the the White House.
Ms. Fiorina said that her widely celebrated performance should spark more interest in her candidacy and raise her name recognition among Republicans.
“Now, for the first time, actually, a lot of people discovered last night that there is more than one woman running for president. A lot of people discovered, I think, that I can win this job. And I can do this job,” she said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
Ms. Fiorina, who is set to attend the RedState Gathering in Atlanta on Friday, said that she is playing a long game.
“I’ve said for a long time, this is going to be a process of elimination before it is a process of selection,” she said. “And I think, after last night, I’m still in the race and I’m going to be in the race for the long haul.”
