Suspected gunman Vester Lee Flanagan who allegedly shot and killed a reporter and cameraman during a live broadcast in Virginia Wednesday morning, posted a horrific video of the attack on social media.
Mr. Flanagan is believed to be the gunman who shot and killed WDBJ7 reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward during a live broadcast from Bridgewater Plaza near Smith Mountain Lake in Moneta.
Mr. Flanagan, described by Gov. Terry McAuliffe as a disgruntled former WDBJ employee who had appeared on-air under the alias Bryce Williams, posted footage of the attack on Twitter.
On the Twitter account @bryce_williams7, which was quickly taken down, the suspect said after the shootings over several tweets that they were a reaction to the victims’ racism.
“Alison made racist comments / EEOC report filed / They hired her after that???” read a succession of three tweets blaming Ms. Parker.
He then went on to attack the cameraman, saying “Adam went to hr on me after working with me one time!!!”
