Amid backdrops of flashing police lights and drug users, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie laments “lawlessness in America and around the world under Barack Obama” in a new television ad.

“Sanctuary cities engulfing Americans in crime. Drugs running rampant and destroying lives. ISIS beheading Christians. Iranian radicals and nuclear weapons,” Mr. Christie, a 2016 GOP presidential candidate, says in the 30-second spot.

“Now Hillary Clinton thinks the law doesn’t apply to her,” he says, along with images of computer equipment. “Really?”

“We need a strong law enforcer as president,” says Mr. Christie, a former federal prosecutor who has said he’d enforce federal marijuana laws in places like Colorado and Washington state as president. “Someone who says what he means and means what he says. We can do it. Let’s make America a leader again.”
