Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina has secured Amy Noone Frederick, the president of the 60 Plus Association, as senior adviser for strategy and outreach should Ms. Fiorina jump into the 2016 presidential race on the Republican side.
The 60 Plus Association, founded in 1992 and based in Alexandria, Virginia, is seen as the conservative alternative to the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP). Mrs. Frederick has also been a longtime political adviser for state-level races in Virginia.
Ms. Fiorina is in the early presidential state of New Hampshire this week and is scheduled to travel to Iowa and back to New Hampshire next week before heading to South Carolina for an event on Saturday, May 9.
She recently said on “Fox News Sunday” that there is a “higher than 90 percent chance” she will run for president, and the Wall Street Journal reported last week she is planning an announcement on May 4, although a spokeswoman did not confirm that report.
