A Philadelphia burger joint has publicly ridiculed Eagles running back LeSean McCoy for allegedly leaving behind a 20-cent tip on a $60 check.

PYT, located in the Piazza at Schmidts, posted a photo of a receipt it claims belonged to Mr. McCoy, who racked up a $61.56 tab with three other guests on Monday afternoon, PYT owner Tommy Up told Philadelphia Magazine.

Mr. McCoy charged the bill to his Visa card, leaving his server a .32-percent tip.

“They were not easy customers,” Mr. Up said.

A photo of the receipt on the restaurant’s Facebook page read: “The twenty cent tip that the Eagles’ LeSean McCoy just left our server on his $60 check is going to come in really handy for that new official NFL McCoy jersey he had his heart set on.”

The reaction on Facebook was largely negative toward the restaurant for publishing the receipt.

“Bad form PYT. Posting this is disturbing and unprofessional. Have you read your Yelp page? SMH,” wrote Aaron Pruzaniec.

“This is very distasteful and unprofessional of PYT. So what if the man left a .20 cent tip? It’s his right to be cheap or more than likely disappointed with the service,” wrote Taryn Woods.

Others questioned the validity of the photo, since similar fakes have cropped up on the Internet in the past.

Server Rob Knelly, who has worked at PYT for 3 and a half years, told the Philadelphia Daily News that Mr. McCoy and his four friends were rude and loud the entire time they dined.

“I wasn’t surprised [by the tip], I saw it coming. They were extremely rude. I kept my cool for as along as I could, where you just don’t want them yelling and cursing you,” Mr. Knelly said, adding that the party was apparently not happy with their food and asked “What is this [expletive]?”

A representative said Mr. McCoy has been made aware of the situation and has yet to comment, the Daily News said.
