Amanda Bynes was arrested in Los Angeles early Sunday morning for driving under the influence, the California Highway Patrol said.

The troubled actress was charged with a misdemeanor after police “determined she was under the influence of a controlled substance” while driving, E! News reported.

Ms. Bynes, 28, was reportedly arrested about 3 a.m. and released on $15,000 bail later in the day.

Ms. Bynes was placed on probation for three years in February, stemming from a 2012 DUI arrest.
