Voters across the country are equally as likely to vote for a Republican as a Democrat in Congress, according to a new poll released Monday.
The Rasmussen Reports poll found that 40 percent of likely voters would pick a generic Republican for their district’s House seat — while the same number would pick a generic Democrat.
The poll results come from phone interviews with 3,500 adults across the country between Sept. 15-20. The margin of error is 2 percent.
