With less than three weeks to go until election day, a new poll has the Wisconsin governor’s race between GOP Gov. Scott Walker and Democratic challenger Mary Burke in a dead heat.

The Marquette Law School poll shows both Mr. Walker and Ms. Burke at 47 percent among likely voters, with 4 percent undecided. In a Marquette poll conducted late last month, Mr. Walker held a 5-point edge over Ms. Burke among likely voters, 50 percent to 45 percent.

The margin of error for the 803 likely voters surveyed from Oct. 9-12 is plus or minus 3 percentage points.

Mr. Walker is ahead by less than a percentage point in the latest RealClearPolitics average of public polling on the race.
