HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - Hot Springs National Park is joining with local chapters of the National Audubon Society and the City of Hot Springs to host a Christmas Bird Count.

The count will be held Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015. This year is the 115th National Audubon Society nationwide bird count that was originally done on Christmas Day, but is now conducted during a period of time. This year the count is from Dec. 14-Jan. 5.
