OPINION:
If it stands, President Obama’s unconstitutional executive order on illegal immigration will butcher the middle class and hang them up on a meat hook to bleed out economically over the next generation. It seems to me that such always been Mr. Obama’s plan for “fundamentally transforming” America.
Mr. Obama had hoped Congress would do his dirty work by passing amnesty. Now he is subverting the Constitution once again in order to accomplish his goal. Based on Mr. Obama’s miserable polling numbers and the midterm elections, the idea that Americans want him to act unilaterally on anything is utterly ridiculous.
Despite incompetence at every level, Mr. Obama issues executive orders as though they were coming from on high. The rule of law and the Constitution mean nothing to this constitutional “scholar.” His gospel is Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals.” The law is what Mr. Obama says it is. Peasants may complain, but they will do as they are told.
Mr. Obama is true disciple of Karl Marx as well as Alinsky. Therefore, the end — a socialist “utopia” — justifies the means: the destruction of the middle class. The goal of Mr. Obama and his Democratic holdouts is to create a permanent political ruling class and a permanent peasant class that is under their control. To do that, they need millions of new entitlement-voting Democrats; namely, illegal aliens.
Americans got exactly what they voted for. Mr. Obama’s illegal amnesty order will be Mr. Obama’s “mission accomplished” moment.
