WHITEFISH, Mont. (AP) - The Flathead County Sheriff says a 60-year-old Whitefish man died after he apparently lost control of his Corvette and crashed into a tree.
Sheriff Chuck Curry says the crash was discovered shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday. The driver, Ronnie Taylor, died of blunt force trauma before he could be taken to a hospital.
Curry says speed is believed to be a factor in the crash and that Taylor was wearing a seatbelt.
The Montana Highway Patrol is investigating.
