SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) - There’s still no verdict in the case of one of two men charged in the murder of a man whose body was found in a ravine last summer.

The Lackawanna County panel deliberated a total of nearly 18 hours on Thursday and Friday without reaching a verdict in the case against 23-year-old Jason Dominick.

The judge told them to come back Saturday and continue working.

Dominick and 23-year-old Neil Pal are charged in the death of 24-year-old Frank Bonacci, whose body was found in his SUV on a ledge above Roaring Brook in July. Pal’s trial is scheduled next month.

Dominick says Pal shot the victim. Prosecutors say Dominick shot Bonacci because the victim was dating his ex-girlfriend.
