WINOOSKI, Vt. (AP) - An autopsy shows that the death of a 15-month-old infant last month in Vermont was a homicide.
The chief medical examiner’s office says the cause of death is “trauma of head and neck.”
Police responded to a Winooski address on April 4 for a report that the boy had stopped breathing. The child was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
No one has been arrested. Police said their investigation is ongoing.
