RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - The Black Hills of South Dakota might be in for more heavy spring snow.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the region from Wednesday evening through midday Thursday. Forecasters say the Lead, Deadwood, Hill City, Custer and Mount Rushmore areas could get up to 8 inches of snow from a storm system moving out of the Rockies.

A system that moved through the region last week dropped more than 2 feet of snow in some areas.
