SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A man accused of killing a Sioux Falls woman last month has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.

Forty-one-year-old John Senn faces murder, robbery and burglary charges in the April 16 stabbing death of 53-year-old Brenda Hansen in her home. Authorities allege that Senn took prescription painkillers from Hansen and argued with her before killing her.

Senn entered his plea on Monday and remains jailed on $1 million bond.
