VINCENNES, Ind. (AP) - State police say a man was killed when he turned a farm tractor in front of an approaching train in southwestern Indiana.
The crash happened Tuesday evening a few miles north of Vincennes. Police say 67-year-old Basil Patrick of Vincennes was driving the tractor on an access road that runs alongside a rail line and turned to cross the tracks as the freight train approached from behind him.
