Delta Bank to open bank in Natchez

NATCHEZ, Miss. (AP) - Delta Bank is negotiating to buy some land on U.S. Highway 61 South in Natchez to locate a full-service branch.

Delta Bank operates branches in Vidalia, Ferriday, Tallulah and Lake Providence in Louisiana. It announced in February its intentions to open a full-service branch in Natchez. Federal and state regulators gave approval in April.

Delta Bank President/CEO Ed Haworth tells The Natchez Democrat (https://bit.ly/1kSDe7c ) the bank will open a temporary office this summer. He says a permanent location will follow in 18 months to two years.
